Dog Days

Jul 19th 7:00 am - 3:00 pm

Dog Days Freshman Orientation is a program designed to assist you with your transition to the Fresno State community both academically and socially. Attending Orientation is an important step in making the transition to life as a Bulldog and is the best way to acclimate yourself as a new Fresno State student. Dog Days gives students the opportunity to meet with an academic counselor, meet with a major advisor and receive priority new student registration. It is also an opportunity to learn about all of the policies and procedures that are unique to Fresno State.

Dog Days offers both a one-day traditional orientation as well as a new two-day orientation. Students who decide to attend the two-day experience will have the option of attending an optional overnight experience. There is limited space on the overnight but it will give students the opportunity to learn more about the campus and take part in interactive experiences with other new students with a variety of evening activities. Students who select the two-day orientation are required to attend both days. It is only the overnight programming which is optional.
