What is BACCHUS?
Bacchus Image 1
BACCHUS (Boosting Alcohol Consciousness Concerning the Health of University Students) is a nationally and campus affiliated peer counseling organization striving to promote healthy life choices for college students. BACCHUS plans and implements several programs throughout the year on a variety of topics including alcohol abuse prevention, substance abuse prevention, safe sex, diet and exercise.

Why be involved with BACCHUS?
Peer counseling is one of the most effective ways to reach students, and BACCHUS strives to find creative ways to impact students lives. This past year a BACCHUS program was recognized for innovation by all of the CSU campuses at the CSU Alcohol Conference. BACCHUS provides a fun way to help make a difference in people’s lives.

How can I get involved with BACCHUS?
BACCHUS meets every other week and plans at least one activity or program every month. You can attend meetings or run for one of the open positions.
